Cheap eats and leftovers.

The Mouse picked up while grocery shopping.

Mini Fried Chicken Bento

Just right for The Mouse’s dinner. Two thigh pieces, vegetables, one scoop rice. $3.50, cheap eats.

For The Cat’s dinner, The Mouse boned the chicken, boiled the bones for broth, simmered leftover rice, a handful of frozen green beans (french cut), all over leftover miso butterfish.

The Cat’s Jook Hybrid

The Mouse also found fresh Brussels sprouts. Halved, oiled, salted, toaster ovened.

Toaster Ovened Brussels Sprouts

Charred, The Cat liked. 🙂

Stay safe and well.

The Cat’s bowl.

The Cat’s Bowl

Leftover rice jook, broccoli, peanuts, soybean, BBQ rib meat. The Mouse took the meat off the bones, boiled the bones to get a broth, removed the bones, then tossed everything in.

The Cat slurped.

How the BBQ ribs got into the refridge? Working on that post, soon.

Stay safe and well.

Also, kinda cleaned out the refridge (partial). Leftovers.

The base.

Fried Rice

Steamed. Then added the fun stuff. The toppings.

Mmm

Boneless Korean style Kal-bi from an Irish pub (go figure), fried chicken from Max’s of Manila (another go figure), soft steamed egg with chipotle sauce. A very international breakfast. Hee hee.

With just a little gravy would have rivaled a loco moco, ah hindsight.

Whatever, it was nom. 🙂

The Mouse was full for awhile.

Staying home.

From The Mouse’s weird mind. Half of a hamburger patty in the refridge. Texture was either not enough fat or too dense. A scoop of miso, some vegetables (turnip greens and carrot), beans, an egg, and the hamburger patty. Oh and the leftover french fries that came with the burger (they were a bit on the dry side).

Miso

The Mouse’s favorite non-recipe, throw everything in and hope for the best. Hee hee.

Hamburger Nabemono

The miso paste made it all good. Nom!

Stay safe and well.
