When The Mouse was younger, leftovers was not in the vocabulary nor a concept. Now that The Mouse is older (not necessarily wiser), leftovers are not only a practice, but a happy concept. Benefits include not having to prep and cook as often, and helps to keep the clothes from shrinking. Hee hee. Don’t get me wrong, I love prepping and cooking, just that right now there are a few personal structural issues that need to be addressed before The Mouse can go “full speed” in the kitchen.

The Cat brought home, office lunch. The Mouse nibbled throughout the day.

Baked Potato

Another lunch. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

Cleaning Out

Not too much happening today, The Cat off to handle last minute deadlines. The Mouse cleaning out the pantry and refrig/freezer.

Tinned sardines, let’s just say multiple tins (more than one) approaching their expiration date.

A butter roll that got “lost” in the back of the freezer.

Remnants of frozen edamame (about a handful).

Last piece of candied lotus root.

Can of vegetable soup.

Two Oreo cookies (more remnants).

Kinda had cat breath for a while. Hee hee.

Sometimes you don’t choose the food, the food chooses you.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Not a very interesting week food-wise, my apologies.

Microwaved Veggies with Peanut Butter

Still trying to use up that organic jar of peanut butter that is too runny for toast or sandwich. Mixed with mixed veggies, not too bad.

I figure, start out with a mess of vegetables in the morning, less guilt throughout the day. Hee hee.

The office is connected with the campus director of finance and facilities (what a combo). She brings back leftovers whenever she has business meetings.

Breakfast Leftovers

Breakfast burrito, orange, hash brown. The Mouse’s lunch.

Dinner was what was planned for lunch, before the breakfast leftover.

Turkey and Ham on JJ2 Whole Wheat with Shiso Leaf

See, unexciting.

Planning on doing a little bit of exploring for lunch tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Enjoy. Eat well.
