The Cat is rushing to meet deadlines. The Mouse working at home. The Mouse eats.

Fried Chicken and Cornbread

Both from the grocery store.

The Mouse finally finished the bag of green apples. Whew. Just a little tart for The Mouse. The Mouse opinion, raw green apples definitely “eat to live” choice, red apples more along the “live to eat” scale. 🙂

Be safe and well.

Eating Healthier

Just for yesterday, Hee hee.

Breakfast, The Mouse wanted fruit.

Granny Smith apple, red seedless grapes, apple banana, and frozen French Toast. Mmm.

Try try.

Neighborhood grocery store stocking more products imported from Japan. Zero calorie gelatin.

Peach flavored.

Peach Gelatin

Instead of gelatin, agar agar was used to “solidify” the dessert. Because zero calories, the taste was a little artificial.

Next time, The Mouse is going for the regular, about 200 calories, similar to one candy bar. “Damn the torpedoes, full (or is it fool, hee hee) speed ahead!” 😉

Be safe and well.

Tart :o

This past weekend Costco run. A box of Granny Smith apples on sale. Green apples usually for pie, The Mouse try try (not for pie, for eating).

Red Grapes, Granny Smith Apples

The apples are tart compared with The Mouse’s usual Fuji or Gala, not lemon or lime pucker lips tart/sour, doable/edible. End result is the same, fiber. Hee hee.

Be safe and well.

There was a small line waiting for delivery, The Mouse thought he got there early enough, maybe next week have to go earlier.

Red Grapes

The Mouse recently learned to soak the grapes and other fruit in vinegar and water. Reduces bacteria, mold, and pesticides. The Mouse has to remember to soak his apples too.

Neighbor has a tree, this year he has a bumper crop. Shared. 🙂
