Fried Rice

The Mouse ran errands yesterday. Picked up fried rice and a hamburger at nearby “drive in”.

“Sumo” Fried Rice

Well-fried, not soggy, four medium shrimp, crispy mystery meat bits. Three to three-point-five paws.

The Mouse also ordered a plain hamburger (The Mouse is on a plain hamburger try try lately). Not bad, the drive-in closer to home is better seasoned..

Be safe, eat good.

The Mouse bought this a while back, on sale.

Package

Figured it is time to try try. A decent one serving. The Mouse followed directions on the package except instead of four-ish minutes, left the rice in the pan longer, slightly crispy bottom. 🙂

Fried Rice

The rice was North of okay, but The Mouse wanted to “dress it up”. Hee hee.

The Mouse’s Breakfast

A fried egg, and roast pork. A proper mouse bowl. Hee hee. Mmm!

Stay safe, eat good.

Omurice

One of The Mouse’s favorite. He had a doctor’s appointment yesterday in town, he is feeling a little Frankenstein-ish right now. Take-out lunch from Sakura Terrace.

Omurice

Chicken and kethup fried rice underneath. Order included miso soup, side salad, and potato salad. Ever since The Mouse watched the scene from Tampopo, he was hooked. 🙂

The Mouse has not experienced the dish made in Japan, but this take-out (although the omelet was inherently “overcooked”, steamed in take-out box), The Mouse was happy with. 🙂

Be safe and well.

Leftover meatloaf, from the grocery store. Rumor is that one of the staff is a chef, The Mouse believes. This meatloaf was tasty. If offered, again, The Mouse will buy. 🙂

Shrimp fried rice. The Mouse had a craving. Neighborhood take-out. Mmm.

Pork chop with Italian sausage, onions, and mushrooms. Leftover from The Cat’s lunch. No doggie bag, mousie bag, hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

The Cat picked up dinner. She came home at a somewhat decent time (an eye of the storm tax season moment). Comfort food.

Omurice

From Sakura Terrace. Mmm. With potato salad and green salad. Nom!

Stay safe and well.
