Still $1.50

A treat for The Mouse. 🙂

Costco Hot Dog

The Mouse added Kewpie mayo and pickled turnip slices.

The Mouse doesn’t like adding condiments on site, the hot dog and bun gets soggy. Eww! The Mouse had an empty condiment container (planned ahead).

Ketchup, Mustard, Relish

Two squirts of ketchup, four squirts each of mustard and relish.

Ideally, The Mouse spoons the condiment on just before each bite. 🙂

Be safe, eat good.

The Mouse was curious. Usually not a big fan of orange chicken, but Panda Express new beyond chicken intrigued The Mouse.

Dinner

Steamed rice, greens, orange chicken, both regular and “beyond”.

The Mouse’s favorite order is teri chicken but for try try experience …

The beyond chicken reminded The Mouse more of tofu than chicken. The Mouse opinion, the regular orange chicken was better, not to displace teri chicken but better than “beyond”.

As an extra, The Mouse tried orange chicken from the local grocery store.

Grocery Store Orange Chicken

Not as much battered, less crispy, taste more toward The Mouse’s palate. If The Mouse had to choose, grocery store. 🙂

Be safe and well.

The Cat is still in quarantine. The Mouse eats “fast” food.

Subway Sandwich

To The Mouse, Subway sandwiches kinda all taste similar. But not bad for fast food.

Teri Chicken Bento

From 7-Eleven. The Mouse thinks SPAM Land 7-Eleven has decent food selection. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Not Fast Food

Lunch from the neighborhood take-out. Mostly Chinese take-out, some local, and some burgers and stuff.

This time, The Mouse went with “not fast food”, cooked to order.

BLT, Single Burger Deluxe (Vegetables)
Fries

Only item missing was green river which the place does not offer. Still The Mouse was satisfied, took a mouse nap afterward. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

The go-to dishes for The Mouse at Panda Express are their teri chicken and super greens. The Mouse mixed is up a little bit and got a side of their mushroom chicken (moo goo gai pan).

Chicken and Mushrooms

Pretty good. Because of the sauce (gravy), chicken stayed moist and tender. The mushrooms and zucchini were good too.

The Mouse made a riff on buttered noodles. Tube pasta with olive oil (no butter nor cheese).

Tube Pasta

Lightly salted, heavy on the ground pepper and dried parsley. Not bad, but oh the days when The Mouse did not have digestive issues with dairy.

Stay safe and well.
