Buns …

And cookies. Hee hee.

Desk food.

Chicken Salad on Potato Bun

From the nearby 7-Eleven.

Chinese Sausage Manapua and Char Siu Manapua

Also from the nearby 7-Eleven. No comparison to Char Hung Sut. The buns had a “funny” texture/mouth feel, too “processed”? Not enough air pockets. And the char siu was too sweet. Thought the 7-Eleven stuff used to be better. Guess nothing so far can match old school. Sight

Orange Snowball

Is that like yellow snow? Hee hee.

Some brought in a bunch and left it on the office “kitchen” counter. Brought on home for “small-kid time” feel.

Chocolate cake, cream filling, marshmallow and coconut “frosting”. Probably no redeeming nutritional value, but … take The Mouse back.

Bag of Cookies

Co-worker’s mom made. Gave The Mouse a bag. Nom.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Church work day. Lunch.

Oven Roasted Pork Loin with Bacon, Mushroom, Spinach, Cornbread Stuffing

Oven Roasted Pork Loin with Bacon, Mushroom, Spinach, Cornbread Stuffing

From Diamond Head Market and Grill. Off the clearance section, ate it at the desk. Actually not to bad, being that it’s pre-made and “clearance”. Ah, the life of a nomad desk jockey (I know doesn’t make sense, kinda does to me).

There’s a glimmer of light at the end of the loooooong tunnel. Getting a plan together to clear out the previous accountant’s “pack rat” ways (I think she saved every piece of paper, and not in an organized way). Oh well, at least senior minister is “watching my back”.

Keep you posted.

Internet connection went kaput just when I started to draft this post last night. Excuse the delay. Last night’s dinner, gonna wait ’till the next post. Jus’ tryin’ to stay with “a post a day”.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Stomach is 95 percent back to normal. I think once the nasty clam left stomach reset itself. Today, stomach was gassy (excuse me, sorry), and hungry. I had in mind a smoked meat plate lunch, but that lunch wagon didn’t show today (maybe went to a different location?). Sigh. No matter, try a different lunch wagon.

Notice they call themselves a lunchwagon? Not a food truck? Old school represent!

Thought I’d better go easy, just in case.

Chicken and Squash Stew, Garlic Fried Rice

Chicken and Squash Stew/Soup, Garlic Fried Rice

Not sure where this dish originates from, Philippines, Japan, Okinawa, dunno. It’s good though, simple, tasty, and “clean” (not too much oils). The fried rice was a surprise too. More like “Spanish rice” style, not so much Chinese, again, tasty. Hit the spot.

Dinner.

Chicken Salad with Cranberries on Politically Incorrect Bread

Chicken Salad with Cranberries on Politically Incorrect Bread

From the downtown 7-Eleven. Very tasty. Must be from their “gourmet” line. Would definite purchase again.

BTW, since I was “out” yesterday, co-worker saved some donuts for me. Cute yeah?

Donuts

Donuts

Two? Must think I’m an oink, not a squeek. Hee hee. Thanks M.

Enjoy. Eat well.
