Bread!

The Mouse had to get some bloodwork and X-rays yesterday. And since he was in the area … hee hee.

Win-Win

The warehouse had to get rid of some odds and ends. Samples and slightly damaged products that the warehouse won’t sell. Instead of dumping, employees were allowed to take home. The Mouse picked up a package of frozen croissants (bake at home).

The Mouse forgot to take home the first day and the package sat in the cooling/staging area, they were kinda limp when they finally made it home. The Mouse threw them in the freezer hoping they could be revived.

Croissants (Raw)

Whole wheat and chocolate. Everyone else took the “regular” croissants by the time The Mouse got downstairs. Oh well.

Thirty minutes at 350 degrees in the toaster oven, The Mouse thinks next time a little lower temperature, the browning got dangerously close.

Whole Wheat Croissant

Kinda looks like a hermit crab? Hee hee. The Cat said yum!

Whole Wheat and Chocolate Croissants

The Mouse’s. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The Mouse also nommed. πŸ™‚

So, the warehouse cleared needed space, The Cat and The Mouse got noms. Win-win. Hee hee.

Stay well and safe.

Digging into the provisions/rations.

Peanut Butter and Pineapple Marmalade on Wheat Toast

The Mouse is self-limiting himself to one slice of bread per serving (usually two). One, to stay in place as much as possible, and two, a good time to watch calories (not really doing too much to burn the calories anyways). Hee hee.

As an added bonus, The Mouse takes time to savor the meal instead of “consuming massive quantities”. Hee hee hee hee.

Take care, safe and well.

Carrot Bread?

From one of The Cat’s clients.

Carrot Bread?

The Mouse thought she heard taro bread, The Mouse thought it tasted more like carrot. Lost in translation? In any case, a tasty add to the provisions. Nom!

Stay well.
