This time meat, pork specifically. The Cat was in the mood for tonkatsu. The two places The Mouse knows of, reservations were filled. The Mouse proposed try try new-ish tonkatsu cafe. Used to be located at the Ohana Marketplace business incubator. Different style of tonkatsu.

Most popular menu item. Kurobuto pork. Mmm!

Uzumaki Shiso Katsu Roll Bento

Kurobuto pork belly rolled with shiso. Even more Mmm!

The style the cafe does they call “mille-feuille” or thousand sheets, pastry term?

The Mouse thinks “croissant”. 🙂

The Cat think good choice, very tender and juicy. Sometimes other tonkatsu could be thicker, but dry. The Cat approved return visit. 🙂

Chicken Salad Sandwich

From the newly opened 7-Eleven. One of The Mouse’s favorite sandwiches from 7-Eleven. Mmm.

L&R Drive In, daily special, spicy eggplant and BBQ pork. The Mouse had some of the pork and eggplant, packed a bento for The Cat, enough rice for bowl dinner for The Cat.

Three mini croissants, one dinner roll. 99 cents. Deal! Hee hee.

Shucks, The Mouse forgot to pick-up a container of poi. Next time.

Nothing too exciting, just yesterday eats.

The Mouse started with a “cornbread” cake. The Cat’s business associate loves cornbread, dunno why, almost an obsession. The Mouse picked up a portion of “cornbread” cake. Texture was not fall apart cornbread, more like “poundcake”. Instead of forwarding to The Cat, The Mouse ate.

The Mouse liked, but, The Mouse is not obsessed with cornbread. Hee hee.

Dinner, The Mouse got distracted by the “clearance” shelf at the grocery store.

Japanese Style Beef Curry Mini Bento

The stew was good, not as good as the beef stew from the other night, but totally decent.

Coleslaw

The Mouse considers coleslaw a vegetable. Hee hee.

The Cat ordered in, she worked late getting a tax return out.

Ginger Chicken and Roast Pork Plate

Plan today is to head to Costco then brunch/lunch. Wish us luck. 🙂
