Back in the day when The Mouse could digest diary, one of his favorite pasta was carbonara. But with age, the dish is now forbidden.

The Mouse, playing in the kitchen. Crispy SPAM, soba noodles, olive oil, frozen broccoli, wakame, salt and pepper to taste.

“SPAM Sobanara”

In The Mouse’s opinion, tossing the drained soba noodles (and still hot) with olive oil immediately after cooking was key. The Mouse enjoyed.

Completely different from pasta carbonara but … ๐Ÿ™‚

Wondering โ€ฆ next time maybe adding natto to the mix. Hee hee.

Stay safe and well.

Probably not as “healthy” as the previous bowl, still warm and comforting.

Tube pasta, leftover dumplings, wakame, Vienna sausage. Mmm. ๐Ÿ™‚

Weather has been just a little chilly (relatively speaking).

Stay safe and well.

Or, it could also be titled “smothered”. Inspired by another YouTube video. A simple double hamburger from MickeyD’s with fries.

Double Hamburger with Fries

An order of vegetarian chili from Zippy’s, over everything.

Covered or Smothered

Needless to say, the dish no longer was hand hold held. The Mouse used a fork, open faced. Mmm.

Next time though, The Mouse is asking for extra pickles. ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay safe and well.

Not very photogenic, but tasty. Hee hee.

Bowl #1, The Mouse’s lunch.

Barley, Black-Eyed Peas, Canned Tuna

Olive oil, turmeric, mayonnaise. Not pretty, but mmm.

Bowl #2, The Mouse’s dinner.

Yellow Squash and Lentil Curry over Rice

All of the ingredients, except for the tuna, were components of The Cat’s bento. The Mouse just made a little more. ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay safe and well.

The Mouse thought of something he can make to use the tuna packed in water. Started with a can of mixed vegetables (carrot, lima bean, potato, corn, peas).

Mixed Vegetables

Normally, The Mouse not a fan of canned vegetables, texture feels overcooked, except for spinach (watched Popeye cartoons small-kid time), but an impulse try.

Cooked a handful of elbow macaroni, added the mixed vegetables, drained tuna, mayonnaise, olive oil (to reduce the portion of mayo), dried parsley, turmeric, salt and pepper to taste.

Tuna Salad, The Mouse style

Turned out pretty good. No recipe, throw everything in and pray, hee hee. The canned vegetables were a surprise, might buy again.

Stay safe and well.
