Co-worker bought pizza for the office. His idea of a valentines. Took a piece home for dinner.

Banana, Orange, Smoked Pork, Veggie Pizza

Banana, Orange, Smoked Pork, Veggie Pizza

I love my compartment plate, must be a throwback to elementary school cafeteria days. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.

But first, a little snack while waiting for The Cat.

Had to try.

Cute yeah?

My potluck contribution to the office lunch.

Ma-Po Tofu

Ma-Po Tofu

Assembled in the Crock-Pot. Partially pre-cooked the ground pork, seasoned with Sriracha and salt.

At the office, drained the tofu, micro-ed for a minute or two, cubed, layered the tofu, ground pork, and package ma-po tofu sauce packets. More Sriracha sauce to taste.

Additional Sriracha and chili garlic sauces, with chopped green onion on the side if people needed more heat.

Looked spicy hot, more like spicy warm. Mild with enough heat to invoke ma-po tofu origins.

Must’ve been okay, at the end of lunch, almost gone.

Odds and Offs

Lunches, since the campus cafe(teria) is closed for the holidays.

Grilled Chicken Sub

Oven Roasted Chicken Sub

Turkey Sub

Turkey Sub

From Subway. Only on Mondays (Sweet Onion Teriyaki), Tuesdays (Oven Roasted Chicken), and Wednesdays (Turkey Breasts), sub of the day deals. Thursdays and Fridays are not as “appealing”.

The Cat’s dinner the other night.

Onaga?

One of her longtime client’s invitation.

The Mouse got the leftovers.

Hmm. While I appreciate the leftover … Let’s just say luckily I recently got turned on to this.

Green Tabasco Sauce

Green Tabasco Sauce

The cooking execution was not the greatest.

Oh well.

One last thing.

Take out from AJ's Chinese Fast Food

Might be the last take out box from there. They’re converting to a buffet concept today. Have to check it out soon.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Think MacGyver and bibimbap. I know, weird, in a good way, at least in my mind.

It started with …

Lomi Salmon

Lomi Salmon

And just rummaging through the kitchen.

Mixed Peas

Mixed Peas

Frozen peas, roasted peanuts (from AJ’s Chinese Fast Food), hot dog, and grape tomato.

Just before eating, added the lomi salmon.

The Layers

The Layers

Didn’t take a picture of after the mix but you get the idea. Yum!

For dinner, in the mood for an açaí bowl (to offset the onions and salted salmon) but too lazy to drive to the mall. Stopped in at the neighborhood Baskin-Robbins with the hope of something dairy-free.

Luckily, one dairy-free flavor.

The Ice

The Ice

Bought a cup for home. Mmm! Not açaí but a very good substitute. Inhaled it with a banana. Sweet and patriotic, good combination.

It’s Friday!

The brothers (not frat bros, religious brothers) at the university (my new job location) is hosting an employee party today. Old timers say the food and drink spread in the past were great. Tell you about it later, not planning on eating lunch today. Hee hee.

Enjoy. Eat well.
