The Mouse saw this in the grocery store and wanted to try try. Possible “stocking stuffers” for Christmas. Sun Noodles also makes ramen variety but generally, The Mouse’s favorite is saimin.
Package recommends 2 servings but for The Mouse, servings is more like 4 servings.
The Mouse “cooked” the saimin according to package directions, more just warming and loosening up in hot liquid. As usual, The Mouse used very little of the soup packet, too much sodium.
Texture was good, more yellow than S&S or Okuhara brands. The Mouse is still loyal to the older brands but Sun Noodles is a good contender.
The Mouse added leftover kalua pork, popcorn chicken, cucumber strips, wakame, a little lemon pepper (which contains salt) to taste. Mmm!
A few of our “nice list” will be getting packages of the ramen. 🙂
Be safe, eat good.
