Black-eyed peas, sliced onion, sliced tomato, quick-brined cucumber, canned sardines (with some oil from the tin), salt and pepper to taste, and coconut vinegar. Kind of a Niçoise salad vibe. Hee hee.
Oh and update of the whiskey mash cornbread.
Very smooth texture, more like pound cake than cornbread, not too sweet. Texture threw The Mouse off. Not bad.
