Roasted yams.
The grocery store that offers roasted yams had some kinda mix-up. Not available. The Mouse roasted yams himself. For The Cat’s bento.
The Mouse finds that roasting in a pan with water results in easier cleanup and softer potato.
The other nearby grocery store does daily markdowns of their deli and bakery products in the later afternoon. The Mouse scored.
The Mouse felt the bag, kinda weighty. Bought on a whim.
About ten shrimp. Not expecting sushi bar experience, but for the price, score. 🙂
The shrimp, the naan bread, and a chocolate donut, everything three dollars and change. Woohoo! 🙂
