Established 1935, wow!
The Mouse ordered old school (small-kid time hanabata days).
Believe it not, the two items are actually listed in the menu as a choice. You don’t have to order ala carte. š
The Cat ordered kinda old school.
Think of it as the “everything including the kitchen sink” of noodle bowls, shrimp tempura, chicken, egg, kamaboko, etc. The only thing missing would be a teri beef stick. Hee hee.
The Cat saw butterfish on the okazu-ya side of the restaurant, ordered that too to try try.
Butterfish filet simmered in shoyu, sugar, sake/mirin. The Cat really liked and, compared to the fine dining restaurants, inexpensive.
The Cat has approved a return soon. š
Stay safe and well.
The Mouse
