The Cat had a gift card to CPK. Ran an errand near Kahala Mall. Lunch. 🙂
Fresh Shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts and scallions tossed in spicy ginger soy sauce. The Cat ordered with shrimp. A healthier take on moo shu pork? Not bad for quasi-Chinese food at a quasi-pizza restaurant. Hee hee.
Shrimp Scampi Zucchini: Their lighter spin on a traditional recipe. Zucchini ribbons sautéed with lemon, garlic and white wine, tossed with fresh Italian parsley, Parmesan and a touch of fettuccine.
The Cat thought too much lemon flavor. The Mouse finished.
Banh Mi Power Bowl: Quinoa, baby kale, fresh cilantro & mint topped with grilled chicken, watermelon radish, fresh avocado, cucumber, carrot, bean sprouts, scallions and sesame seeds. Served with housemade chili-lime vinaigrette and serrano peppers.
The Mouse liked everything except the chili-lime vinaigrette. He used the remaining ginger-soy sauce from the lettuce wraps. Next time, The Mouse will plan and bring pickled carrot and radishes, and Maggi seasoning liquid to add. 🙂
Because The Mouse finished The Cat’s lunch, he took home a portion of the bowl (went into The Cat’s bento).
