Time: Evening.
The Mouse ordered at MickyD’s (through the digital kiosk in the restaurant) two oatmeal cookies. Seemed straight-forward. No?
The Mouse got in his order two chocolate chip cookies (not complaining) and two containers of oatmeal with diced apples, raisins, and cranberries (still not complaining).
Server said location didn’t serve oatmeal cookies, only chocolate chip. But oatmeal option was listed on the menu board (oops, mistake). Also, kitchen saw oatmeal on the order and thought oatmeal. Oh well, honest mistake. The Mouse was going to take the two paid for cookies, manager said to take the oatmeal too. The Cat gets two free breakfasts.
As The Mouse was walking out, the scene from the movie Cool Hand Luke was playing in his mind. Hee hee.
