The Mouse learned something new. Slicing onions from shoot to root (north to south) is less tearful than slicing east to west.
The Mouse sliced half an onion, little to none eye irratation.
The Mouse sautéed the onion with the last of the leftover bacon steak.
A drizzle of yellow mustard. Mmm.
If The Mouse had planned better, he would have sprinkled a little bit of instant coffee while sautéing. The Mouse loves the combination of bacon and coffee.
So, this method only works with sliced onions. If dicing or garnishing sandwiches or burgers? All bets are off. 😦
