Or a leap of faith. The Mouse bought a carton of lactose-free milk (first-time try).

The Mouse poured a half cup (baby steps) and added Ovaltine.

“Chocolate Milk”

So, sometimes, even with lactase pills, The Mouse experiences some degree of stomach discomfort (won’t go into details, TMI).

Just to be safe, The Mouse took a dose.

Result was no lactose intolerance effect, no stomach issues. Yay! 🙂
