Menu item at Chef H’s kitchen: Guest Chef “K” Special Chilled Seafood Pasta. The Mouse was a little concerned there was a potential coup d’├ętat going on. Chef H responded with the “it’s all good” sign.

The Cat’s dinner:

Chilled Pasta

Angel hair pasta, onions, cucumber, tomato.

Seafood

Mussels, clams, smoked salmon, shrimp, tomato, prosciutto, Japanese yuzu pepper.

A lot of food. The Cat shared with The Mouse. Sauce was shoyu based, not whatever french sauce might be appropriate. reminded The Mouse of somen sauce. Different.

The Mouse wondered what the plating would look like if chef plated, not take-out. Really Instagram worthy. Hee hee.

Because The Cat’s stomach can’t take too much cold food and The Mouse wasn’t sure how much vegetables there would be, The Mouse made a simple vegetable soup.

Vegetable Soup

Fresh asparagus, wakame, salt, olive oil. The Mouse guesses the asparagus and wakame was a kinda French Japanese fusion too. Hee hee.
