The Cat’s last dish of 2019.

Smoked Pork Chop

Picture doesn’t show, but the chop is a double, that’s a lot of meat. The Cat took home more than half.

The Mouse had to use two turnips in the refridge.

Simmered the turnips for about 40 minutes. Cut up the chop into bite sized pieces, added the turnip green, one Chinese dried date, a pinch of goji berries, one dried shiitake mushroom, and a couple dried seaweed.

Smoked Pork and Turnip Stew

The Cat nommed.

Oh, and the restaurant has a new year tradition, sends all customers home with a serving of their new year soup.

Ham and Black Eyed Pea Soup with Vegetables

The Mouse nommed.
