After the Concert

The Cat was given tickets to a choral concert Sunday, she did some deeply discounted accounting work for them.

After the concert, The Cat and The Mouse tried to find somewhere to eat. Could not find parking at several locations, ended up in Chinatown. Hunan restaurant. Ordered simple, not spicy.

Noodz with Pork and Vegetable

Comfort food.

Some kinda “spinach”? Whatever it was, it was good.

And the star of the show?

Steamed Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable

Cooked very well. Tender, not dried, not “greasy”. The Cat thinks they pre-boiled to render the oil out. Nom!

The Mouse wants to go back to try their buns and dumplings!
