The Mouse frequently does it, The Cat has fits. Hee hee.
Yesterday’s eating log.
Kalua pork and cabbage over rice. Could be lunch or dinner, The Mouse decided for breakfast 🙂
Nico’s at Pier 38, supervisor treated the group.
Furikake Pan Seared Ahi: Fresh tuna Ahi steak coated with Japanese dried seaweed and sesame seeds then cooked to order, from rare to well done. Served with Nico’s ginger garlic cilantro dip.
Okay, this could be lunch, but The Mouse thinks more dinner.
Dinner got a little complicated. The Mouse was jonesing for bakery stuff. Dinner rolls.
First stop Zippy’s. No dinner rolls, but The Mouse was enticed with some of their offerings.
Bread pudding, cornbread, pumpkin coffee cake, pumpkin donut (baked not fried), and a mochizada? Mochi flour made into a malasada-like pastry. Much less oil than a regular malasada (at least the ones from Leonard’s anyway), much denser. not bad. Buy again? Maybe.
A visit to old school institution on this side of the island.
Cash only, no checks, no credit/debit cards. Old school.
A package of dinner rolls.
No individual, had to buy a dozen.
Must say though these are the bomb! Just buttery enough, soft, not soggy, probably not health food, but comfort food. Thumbs up, socks off.
Also had a bowl of oatmeal, to make-up for breakfast. Hee hee.
Now, what to do with the rest of the package, hmm, maybe SPAM sliders or breakfast sliders. Nom!
Enjoy. Eat well.
