Last Night of Travel

Suggested restaurant was closed. Early flight out next day. Concierge suggested place might be too pricey. Ate at the hotel bar.

Pork Belly Lettuce Tomato Sandwich

The Mouse’s. Pork belly confit. Well-cooked. Tender, slightly fatty (in a good way). Could’ve used a touch more “umph”. Maybe sriracha mayo? Gojijang mayo? Lau Gan Ma dip? Still good.

Furikake Fish Sandwich

The Cat’s, she liked.

Hilo Bay

Morning view. Too bad we couldn’t stay a little longer. Maybe next time.
