The Cat meets Carnitas

Still waiting for a neighborhood Mexican place to open, they moved almost a year ago and are still in the process of opening. Sigh.

Trying another Mexican place, a little further, good reviews.

The Place

A little pricey, but, try try.

The Mouse wanted to try tamale for the first time (must be good if anything like pastele), but alas, sold out. Frown.

Ordered the chile verde instead.

Chile Verde

Very well made, not too spicy, The Mouse added hot sauce.

The Cat ordered a fiesta bowl with carnitas (she didn’t know what carnitas was).

Carnitas Fiesta Bowl

Spanish rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, salsa, and of course carnitas. Think Bibimbap. The Cat likes. A definite reorder.

The Mouse may even order a fiesta bowl next time too. Very “festive”. Hee hee.

Finished with their churro dessert.

Yum.
