The Cat read about a research facility opening their gates for a couple of weeks. One of their projects is testing sunflowers for their oil quality. For “nostalgic” reasons, The Cat wanted to visit.
After approximately an hour drive, one stop for directions, we arrive.
Sunflower Field
The sunflowers are grown strictly for oil purposes, eating was not advisable unless someone is “constipated”. Hee hee, sorry, TMI.

Weather was hot. The Mouse needed some refreshment, the local schools were offering shave ice and other treats, The Mouse opted for fruit.
