Weather in SPAM Land still relatively chilly, keyword relatively. The Mouse needed comfort food.
A little bit leftover, a little canned food, and a little home cooked.
The Mouse’s Plate
Soft scrambled eggs, canned spinach, leftover beef tongue (from the other night). The Mouse decided that the plate needed a little something else. Gravy!
Packaged, not scratch, still filled the spot.
The Mouse’s Tray
Pickled okra, cucumber kimchi, packaged jook with red beans, the above plate with gravy. Mmm Nom!
The combination of tongue and spinach from the night before, and spinach and eggs (like Eggs Florentine, The Mouse style), and gravy all over? A mash-up security blanket. Hee hee.
The Mouse had decided that spinach with gravy is his new favorite spinach prep. 🙂
