Preserved Citrus

At first, The Mouse thought these were preserved lemons, but the different sizes and shapes got him confused. Maybe different citruses? Dunno.

The Mouse’s grandmother used to salt preserve lemons at home. She had the grandkids haul the jars to the galvanized garage roof. There were many a sizzled toe/sole from the hot metal.
