Brussels Sprouts

More vegetables The Cat brought home. The Brussels sprouts had seen better days. Took a bit of cleaning to get them into decent edible shape.

Brussels Sprouts Prep

Olive oil (more than just a splash), a couple of drops of liquid smoke, salt.

“Double baked” (or toaster ovened). Hee hee.

First 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Then, as The Cat is commuting, another 15 minutes at 475 degrees.

The Cat prefers the crispy ones. The Mouse gotta get a heavy duty blow torch, no dainty creme brulee torch. Hee hee.
