Bought from the farmers market yesterday.
Breadfruit
On the smaller side. The breadfruit we are used to are usually at least twice this size, but, it’s just The Cat and The Mouse. Vendor warned that taste and texture would not be as sweet nor soft, but still edible.
Cut into fours, took out the “stem”, steamed half and toaster ovened half.

Both came out on the drier side, The Mouse did not slather with butter beforehand. The vendor was right, drier and more “bready” than what The Mouse is used to. Buttered prior to eating. The Cat liked.
