Consistency more liquid-y than “jammy”, no matter.
Toasted the “rustic” bun.

Split (like an English muffin).
Slathered butter, back in the toaster to melt, one side just butter, the other side butter and the strawberry preserve.
Toast with Butter and Strawberry (and Brandy) Preserve
Nom! Not too much brandy taste, guess the alcohol was cooked out, that’s okay, doc says alcohol and The Mouse’s meds don’t mix anyways. Still tasty. Will try and purchase from the vendor as often as the pocketbook permits (gotta support local small business).
