Eggplant?

Or golf balls? Hee hee.

Got these from the farmers market.

Eggplant

Golf ball sized.

Vendor said best stewed or braised. Okay.

Cleaned

Leftover roast pork, the brown gravy variety, not the Chinese crispy skin variety.

Stir-fried the eggplant, added a little water, a little whiskey, let everything braise for 15-20 minutes.

Added the roast pork and package of brown mushroom gravy, braise for another 5 minutes.

The eggplant kinda lost its structure, dish became more thick gravy. The Cat liked.

The Cat’s “Teishoku”

Rice (in a cat themed bowl), seaweed soup (with soybeans), eggplant and roast pork in mushroom gravy.

Enjoy. Eat well.
