Quality Control?

Subtitled a McD fail.

Did a drive-thru at the nearby McD. Ordered a grilled chicken sriracha sandwich (from their website: with spicy, chili pepper-infused Sriracha Mac Sauce™, tender baby spinach and kale, tomato, crispy onion, and smooth white cheddar*. Just the right amount of Sriracha Mac Sauce™ kick make for a pleasantly spicy chicken sandwich. On a grilled chicken breast made with 100% chicken breast filet), without cheese, and a filet-o-fish sandwich, without cheese.

Receipt indicated the correct order.

What The Mouse got.

BBQ Bacon Grilled Chicken Sandwich

From their website: Layered with BBQ sauce made with sweet onions, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, grilled & crispy onions, and smooth white cheddar*. On a grilled chicken breast made with 100% chicken breast filet.

And

Filet-o-Fish Sandwich

Both with cheese. To add insult to injury, the fish sandwich was sans tartar sauce (one of the main reasons The Mouse orders the fish sandwich in the first place). Big sigh.

The chicken sandwich was pretty good (there was bacon), may order again, but it wasn’t what I wanted last night.

I guess they didn’t have an expeditor to check as orders went out. 😦

A big McD fail. The Mouse will definitely be filling out the customer satisfaction survey on-line.

Eat well.

Leftovers?

A small portion of spicy eggplant leftover. What to do?

Whole Wheat Toast -Margarine (with Flax Seed)

Then

Pan Roast Grape Tomatoes

After the tomatoes “toasted”, added the leftover eggplant and simmered. Served over the toast.

The Mouse’s “Mess”

Inspired by a little bit of ratatouille, a little bit of bruschetta, or just call it “cleaning out the refridge”. Hee hee.

Should’ve thought of it at the time and added a fried egg on top. Brain too small. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.

“Orphans”

Finally, the phone and the computer talk. Sheesh!

Picked this up at a yard sale, I think.

Soup Bowl with Cover

Not perfectly designed, handle too short, bowl and cover not fully integrated, but works well in warming soup or beans in the toaster oven. Forgot what The Mouse paid for it, but it was a bargain.

Leftover from The Cat’s lunch.

Black Rice

Not sure about the particulars, where, what, etc. Something about last week’s lunch? Luckily the refridge partially froze the rice.

The Mouse tried for breakfast. Nom! 🙂

A bit busy, The Mouse sending out resumes, The Cat planning a short inter-island weekend.

Stay tuned.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Still Free Salad Bar

For the month.

The Cat tried the chicken and broccoli pasta.

The Cat’s Plate

My apologies for a short post. My phone and computer are not talking to each other … again. Sigh.

Enjoy. Eat well.

Crunchy Stuff

Usually, it’s The Mouse that likes crunchy stuff. This time, it’s The Cat.

Our semi-regular Sunday visit to Ruby Tuesday at the mall (after farmers market). The Cat tries fried onions from the salad bar, instant like.

Picked up from the grocery store.

Container

Now, The Cat can have crunchy stuff at home. 🙂

Enjoy. Eat well.
