Dinner with one of The Cat’s mentors, Michel’s again (not complaining, jus’ stating a fact). Menu selection in Chef Hardy’s hands.

Mini Lamb Chop

Not sure if this was an appetizer or an amuse bouche, semantics.

If chef just served this (of course a bigger portion), and a bowl of rice, The Mouse could’ve been very happy, that good. Hee hee

Oysters on the Half Shell

From Kualoa Ranch, super fresh and tasty. Chef supplied 18 oysters for five people, generous for a tasting menu, IMHO.

Mushroom Consommé

Beef Consommé with Local Mushrooms & Reggiano Cheese; Baked under a Golden Puff Pastry Crust. Slurp.

Original chef’s choice was bananas Foster, The Mouse asked the server if could change up to cherries jubilee (to complement the heaviness of the steak diane).

Cherries Jubilee

Fresh Bing Cherries Infused in Cognac & Amareto; Served with Vanilla Gelato & Chocolate Shavings.

Perfect finish.
