No, The Mouse is not Catholic, must be the influence on campus. In the mood for fish today.

But first, a visit to the chocolate shop.

Easter Chocolates

The bunnies and chicks are sitting on an old-fashioned cold appetizer cart. I think the way it works is under the perforated disk is ice to keep the plates cold as the cart is wheeled around a dining room. Some of the chocolates are hollow and filled with jelly beans and whatnot.

So since I was in the vicinity¬†… a short hop to the original Bob’s Bar-B-Cue. The baked beans and Polish sausage plate will just have to wait for another time.

Grilled Ahi Sandwich

The shiso leaf is from The Cat and The Mouse’s bucket garden.

And, since this was the first meal of the day (not breakfast, kinda “brunch”).

Fried Oyster Sandwich

After a Kobe (you know, cow massage) session with a new masseuse, a walk around the neighborhood mall, something “lite”.

Mc D’s Filet-O-Fish Sandwich

Again, shiso leaf from the bucket garden.

If it’s frozen and square, is it still considered “fish”, especially in SPAM land? Just rhetorical. Uhmm.

Seems like today’s kitchens kinda went overboard with the tartar sauce. Oh well.

I think my craving for fish sandwiches (cooked) has been satiated for the time being.

So, how’s your weekend going so far?

Enjoy. Eat well.
