But first, a little snack while waiting for The Cat.
Had to try.
My potluck contribution to the office lunch.
Assembled in the Crock-Pot. Partially pre-cooked the ground pork, seasoned with Sriracha and salt.
At the office, drained the tofu, micro-ed for a minute or two, cubed, layered the tofu, ground pork, and package ma-po tofu sauce packets. More Sriracha sauce to taste.
Additional Sriracha and chili garlic sauces, with chopped green onion on the side if people needed more heat.
Looked spicy hot, more like spicy warm. Mild with enough heat to invoke ma-po tofu origins.
Must’ve been okay, at the end of lunch, almost gone.
The Mouse didn’t need dinner. 🙂
