Yesterday turned out to be rice day. Not planned, just happened. Usually, there’s bread or noodles, but yesterday, all rice.
“Breakfast”, from Foodland Farms.
Pork with zucchini and yellow squash (the sign said eggplant, sigh), “char siu pork with choi sum, fried plantain with honey and lime (spicy).
Lunch, a quickie from the nearby 7-Eleven.
Dinner, late in Chinatown (kinda iffy), with The Cat. Make sure to carry mace and/or a very intense flashlight … Sunflower Cafe.
I thought The Cat was going to order Hainan Chicken Rice but instead …
Since it was late, The Mouse ordered something on the “light” side.
Chinese loco moco without the loco, or is it without the moco. 🙂
Easy to eat, not too oily. Just right.
And because The Cat needs greens …
Plain, no garlic. Nom!
A preview of this week’s meat.
Enjoy. Eat well.
