Ended up here for dinner last night.
If you guessed here.
You’d be right.
Not sure if any of the guitars had historical significance but they were a nice wall centerpiece.
Display is pretty impressive, the guitars extend over the ceiling, the length of the restaurant.
Kinda an oddball place for us to end up, gotta remember, we’re older. Hair’s gray, less pep in the step, if you know what I mean. Heh heh.
But then again, the oldsters like Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and the like are still rockin’ so why not.
Atmosphere is kinda noisy, it’s not called Hard Rock Cafe for nothin’. But The Cat liked the energy.
The Cat ordered a grilled vegetable flatbread.
Crispy flatbread topped with grilled vegetables: bell peppers, tomato, onion, mushroom, asparagus, roasted garlic with mozzarella and tomato sauce.
Just in case you still don’t know where you are, the restaurant sticks a marker in the dish.
The Mouse was trying to decide between their veggie burger (all vegetables) or a local creation, the Da Kine burger.
Our grilled Veggie Leggie patty is topped with a grilled portobello mushroom, zucchini, yellow squash and roasted red pepper. Served on a toasted bun with mayo, leaf lettuce, sliced tomato and grilled sweet onions.
Plus, with the Duke watching over you …
Hard Rock’s version of a Hawaiian favorite! Topped with grilled portuguese sausage, sesame soy glaze, grilled Dole pineapple ring, house made guacamole, pico de gallo, and Monterey Jack cheese. Served with local furikake fries.
The portuguese sausage and grilled pineapple pushed me over. Oh, and the furikake fries! 🙂
Burger was so tall, had to deconstruct it to consume. Which is what I normally do to burgers anyway (unless it’s a fast food burger).
Shared a dessert.
Advertised as “tree to table”.
Thick, juicy apples are mixed with the finest spices and baked until golden brown. Our fresh apple cobbler is so good you’ll think your grandmother made it! Served warm with vanilla ice cream, topped with walnuts and GHIRARDELLI® caramel sauce.
Pretty good. Not too sweet, in fact, it was a little savory. Nicely complimented be the vanilla ice cream.
Funny, as we were finishing up, noticed this on one of the placards …
Similar to the Da Kine burger
except it’s double decker, and but instead of portuguese sausage, there’s … SPAM! Gotta come back! Hee hee.
Left just as the house band EMKE was coming on, the parking meter was calling.
Sorry, couldn’t find a shaka emoji. Sigh. 😉
Enjoy. Eat well.
