Head of cabbage in the refrig’. No kalua pork in sight. Sigh.

What to do?

On the internet, miso braised cabbage. Miso in refrig’? Check. Light bulb (not in the refrig’ Hee hee).

Chunky Peanut Butter and Aka (Red) Miso

The Mouse added the peanut butter just because I was inspired to. Hee hee.

About a tablespoon (maybe less) of each.

Started the cabbage on medium heat with a little bit of coconut oil.

Added water to the peanut butter and miso, just enough to make a slurry.

Added the slurry to the cabbage, a splash of vanilla vodka to make everyone happy.

Turned down heat to medium low and covered (for 30-40 minutes).

The Cat liked. The Mouse self critique, could’ve had a bit of heat. Next time add a few chili flakes, or a drop or two of sriracha, or tabasco (you get the idea) to the pool party. Not bad though.

Wait, wait, this might even be vegan. Ohhhh! (Mr. Bill face). Hee hee.
