Yesterday started out sorta normal.
Lunch was a salad.
From Teddy’s Bigger Burgers (I know, where’s the beef?), more on that later. Came with a packet of Italian dressing. Too many unpronounceable ingredients … uhm no. Luckily there was a bottle of malt vinegar as a condiment. 🙂
The Cat had a dinner meeting. The Mouse went hunting for dinner. It was a toss-up between a new tempura restaurant or one of the eating places at the new Nordstrom at the mall.
While waiting for the bus, a different bus (to downtown and Chinatown) came before the bus to the mall. Impulsively jumped on that one instead (“not all who wander are lost”). Hee hee.
Landed here.
Been curious about their “hand cut noodles” for a bit. Place looks clean and inviting. Don’t quite get the pictures of Times Square, Empire State Building, and the Eiffel Tower though.
Ordered an “appetizer”.
Awesome pork. Better than “cha-siu” at any ramen place so far. Socks off.
Bowl was pretty good too. Can’t see it in the picture but the noodles are really “rough” in a good way (flavor sticks better). Noodles look like they’ve been hacked by a hacksaw, or Edward Scissorhands with dull fingers, or pinking shears. In any case, hand cut noodle is the way to go!
Seafood was squid, shrimp, and fish fillet. Generous portion.
Have to the The Cat here to try.
Enjoy. Eat well.
