Also known as cupbop.
New take-out joint downtown. Here’s what piqued my curiosity: http://www.frolichawaii.com/stories/something-new-obop/.
Ordered a medium? (I think the sizes are medium and large), mixed grain rice, and shoyu pork (salad included).
Nice portion, nice flavor, garlic aioli salad dressing (nice). No sock came off, but very satisfied. When all is said and done, it’s a mini plate lunch in a bowl. I think next time I’ll take it back to the office and spread it out on a plate.
Also tried a citron and vinegar iced tea.
Complimented the shoyu pork very well.
Finally, picked-up a kimchee bacon musubi for afternoon snack. 🙂
I think it’s called K-bop (short for kimbap maybe?). Hanson, K-Pop, O’bop, K-bop? I’m so confused. 😉
Good, coulda used a little less kimchee and a little more bacon. But, that’s just me. Hee hee.
Definitely on the list when I’m in the area.
I think we’re doing Japanese tonight, dinner with Aunty M (it’s her b-day). Shh.
Enjoy. Eat well.
