Friend saw my post about pa‘i‘ai.
Suggested next time to steam before eating. I had put the package in the refrig for the day, wasn’t up to trying fermented pa‘i‘ ai yet, and it kinda stiffened (which I didn’t mind the texture, kinda potato-y).
So last night, a little steam.
Smoother texture, slight chew. I like both stiff and steamed. Just me being weird. 😉
Ate it with bitter melon and SPAM, picked up from the grocery deli on the way home.
