Due to scheduling issues last week, couldn’t get to JJ2 Bakery for my current favorite whole wheat bread. 😦

While it was good for PB&J, not so good for other sandwiches (too white … bread). Texture issue for me (just my opinion).

This week same thing. Got to the bakery, but they were sold out, only white bread left. 😦 😦

Had a little time between commutes, stopped in at Watanabe Bakery just to see (haven’t visited the bakery in years, location).

Got their whole wheat bread.

Shape is correct.

Texture is not bad, a little softer than I like, but a good substitute.

Leftover kippered herring, leftover dried fish (from the Chinese broccoli dish), one egg.

Flaked the herring, added an egg, scrambled to blend, pan fried.

With a couple of takuan for garnish.

Needless to say, the sandwich gave me very strong cat breath, but well worth it. Hee hee.
