Public Service Announcement

The Cat got this missive from one of her friends today. Maybe from a flower shop? Dunno. In the public interest, we are forwarding this.

Due to the unusual cold weather, roses are not available for Valentine’s Day.

In place of roses, the following vegetables will be substituted.

Persons in single situations will receive Chinese parsley,

Persons in dating situations will receive celery.

Separated – Napa cabbage.

Married – lettuce.

Divorced – pickled cabbage.

Unattached – bean sprouts.

And persons with multiple suitors will be receiving cauliflower.

Bouquet

One of The Cat’s friends commented “today’s bouquet, tomorrow’s stir-fry”.

Wait, today’s date is February 14?  Not April 1? Oops, please disregard this post.
