Nothing fancy, home cooked comfort food.
Start with …
Lightly sear, braise with water, dark and light soy sauce, sugar, ginger, rice vinegar, salt and pepper, dash of vodka and gin.
Chinese five-spice and star anise.
Let simmer until done.
Not photogenic, but tasty.
Since the next couple of months will be sorta hectic, the dish should last a couple of days. Many of the components The Cat likes, collagen, pork, turnip, sauce. 🙂
