Nothing exciting. Well, trying to learn the new job, meeting a “needed it yesterday” deadline (normal transition quirks). Missed lunch (somewhat intentionally), fiber bar and protein bar to keep going (see previous post).
Rewarded myself with oat bran nuggets picked up on the way home.
From Jamba Juice. I know, looks a little turd-y (heh heh), but nice little bite-sized treats. Plus, they’re supposed to be low fat, not like the Starbucks equivalent here.
Since I beat The Cat home, cooked up a few dishes.
Lotus root, sliced thin and steamed, The Cat’s soup noodles, cold chopped tofu mixed with toasted black sesame seeds, black and white salt, white pepper, and toasted sesame seed oil, stir-fried white stemmed cabbage, and quinoa topped with dried seaweed and wasabi peas.
Not that I needed kitchen therapy, just for fun.
