A chef once told us if we want really really good food, make friends with the server or better yet, the chef. That’s what happened last night.
Somehow, we’ve made a connection with AJ’s Chinese Fast Food. Both the front and back of the house.
The Cat’s project kept us out late. Soup noodles at AJ’s Chinese Fast Food.
Definitely not on the menu. Chef added fresh vegetables … and won ton. Happy Cat (happy Mouse too because The Cat shared her won ton 🙂 ).
One of the best soup noodles dishes The Cat’s had in a long time outside of China.
Again, with fresh vegetables …
It was a little chilly out last night, the beef stew soup was temperature hot and a little spicy hot. Food for the stomach … and the soul 🙂
There’s something to be said about fresh, hand made noodles (pasta too). Adds a different dimension to the taste/texture.
So, another Christmas wish … if financial resources were not a consideration, definitely would leave the church job and go help Chef D in his kitchen. What magic could I learn there … oh the possibilities.
Enjoy. Eat well.
