No, not the TV show (which I’ve never seen).
Let me explain. Starting from last week, preschool hosts Thanksgiving lunches for its students and parents. School provides the turkey, parents provide pot-luck everything else. Since the courtyard can only fit one class each time, six lunches are scheduled.
Staff (not part of the class), gets to pick over the leftovers. The Mouse got some last Friday.
Smashed Okinawan sweet potato, turkey, fried noodles, mac ‘n’ cheese (luckily had a lactose pill in my pocket, sorry TMI), fried rice. Highlights were the potato and turkey.
Pecan pie, cranberry sauce (this one was a winner), veggies, baked spaghetti, ham skin (the best!), turkey scraps, and Zippy’s chili.
The Cat also brought home some leftovers from her lunch yesterday too.
Maybe The Mouse gets another freebie lunch today? Hopefully. Hee hee
Enjoy. Eat well.
