The plan was ma po tofu.
After de-cluttering the refrig (I’ve said it before, we need a walk-in frig and freezer, industrial sized), the result was this.
Besides the tofu, ground pork, and ma po sauce packet, I added wood ear fungus, rehydrated shiitake, ginger, green onions, and carrots. Jus’ because.
Turned out okay. The Cat liked it. The Mouse too.
Really want to learn the authentic ma po sauce from scratch tho’. Have to find an old grandma from the province. 🙂
