Eating Colors

According to a nutritionist friend, supposed to eat all colors (except blue, blueberries don’t count).

Waiting for my ride home with The Cat the other day, snack/dinner.

"Kake" Udon

“Kake” Udon

Udon in plain broth, pickled ginger, grated ginger, and green onions (add your own from bins on the counter). Slurp!

Sorta keeping to the regimen, very little oil, fiber from the ginger and green onions, the carbs and salt not that good today. At least it’s colorful.

Enjoy. Eat well.

"Breakfast"

“Breakfast”

Spinach, blueberry, and pinenut salad, hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, and salsa. All leftovers in their refrig from previous meals. Works for me.

More leftovers from the parents’ lunch day with their pre-schoolers. teriyaki chicken, kalua pork, baby greens salad with quinoa, raw broccoli and cauliflower, residual cabbage from garlic chicken (the cabbage is used as a filler to absorb some of the oils, sometimes I like the cabbage more than the meat ๐Ÿ™‚ ), and a chocolate chip cookie (wasn’t my fault, one pre-schooler gave it to me, couldn’t say no, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it).

The cucumber ย “scraps” from stuffing the fishcake. Cucumber sandwich with a thin spread of mayo and yellow mustard on high fiber bread. “Waste not … ”

Eating on ย the cheap. ๐Ÿ™‚
