Doctor’s appointment last week. His “suggestions”. Less salt, less white rice and bread, more fiber (ok that’s doable), less calories. Could stand to lose a few pounds.

Oh! And less processed meats (SPAM and bacon). Humph! 😦

You saw last nights dinner (minestrone soup and sautéed veggies). Today’s “food”: a banana and coffee (black) for breakfast (no pictures, not exciting), a grilled vegetable sandwich for lunch.

Seasoned red bell pepper, Onion, Eggplant, Zucchini w/ Balsamic Vinaigrette, served on house-made Focaccia bread, Feta cheese & Pesto from Diamond Head Market & Grill. Pretty good, wish they cut the veggies a little smaller.

Dinner was “light”.

High Fiber Bread, Basil Leaf (from the neighbor), and Sun-Dried Tomatoes (from Costco)

Along with green beans with pork, cooked by The Cat (more on that tomorrow).

SPAM and bacon, it’s not goodbye, it’s farewell for now, see you soon.
