In reality, the noodles were a little more pink-ish orange-y. Looked up Pad Thai on Wiki, one of the ingredients listed is tamarind paste. Maybe that’s what made the noodles that pink/orange tint. Taste reminded me of school cafeteria Spanish rice (weird or what). Again, maybe due to tamarind paste. Maybe if I go back, I’ll ask for medium heat. Today was a tad bland, but better to err on the side of mild/bland than become a pepper fueled rocket in the bathroom (sorry, TMI). 🙂
