Okazuya!

You may already know, I have a soft spot (my belly, hee hee) for lunch wagons (not food trucks). I also have a soft spot for local-style Japanese delicatessen (Okazuya). The Honolulu Magazine has a short description here. Both are old school, small kid time, bits of heaven.

Japanese “delis” maybe a local phenomenon. Tried to search for a definition and only came up with this. I dunno.

Lately, The Cat has been letting The Mouse borrow her car on Sundays. I can get to the church earlier, and not be too worried about having to stay a little later.

This is on the way to church (car route).

Needless to say The Mouse was very happy today.

Enjoy. Eat well.
